All the designs are bespoke and created to the clients’ individual circumstances. All potential clients are invited to write us a ‘wish list’, of what they like to see the room doing for them. More light and space; a family dining experience or a modern and sleek place to work. Together with clients input, a design is created. This is very much work in progress with the Designer being able to chop and change a design so that it becomes perfect. The computer system can change a door style and colour in seconds, change a floor from tiles to wood a worktop from laminate to granite. The possibilities and schemes are endless. Made entirely from 18mm board, the carcasses are fully colour coordinated to the door colour, have soft close drawers and hinges, stainless steel drawer sides and have a range of internal wirework to provide storage solutions for almost every need. A final touch is a 2mm PVC band to all exposed edges, providing a soft look but the strength to cope with most knocks and bumps throughout its life.
No kitchen is complete until you have the perfect appliances to go with it. However, you most certainly need to know how to use them correctly. Cookery demonstrations for clients, who want to make the most of their appliances, or are interested in purchasing, are available. This includes the art of Japanese cooking with a Tepan Yaki Hot plate, so watch for details.

Dave Stone Design has been based at the top of Lockoford Lane on the main Sheffield Road for almost 18 years and has enjoyed many successful years with hundreds of satisfied customers, some of whom return time after time as they move houses and circumstances change. David Stone has designed kitchens for almost 26 years and has broke his teeth (or his pencil) on the original line drawings on graph paper moving now into the 21st century CAD technology whereby clients can see their new room in photo realism on a 10 foot screen, almost being able to “walk” into the design.
Suzanne Moon runs the showroom and project manages the installations, organising all the “team”, from plasterers, electricians, plumbers, and tilers – as well as the fitting team who consist of time served joiners with almost 60 years of experience. One special attribute which the company offer, is that the team all work together , communicating with each other and Suzanne so that the whole job runs as smooth as possible in the minimal amount of time and inconvenience to the client.
